As Chief Executive, Nadine leads an integrated media team charged with delivering
transformative models and ways of working. Nadine has a proven track record of building and
inspiring winning teams, and driving innovative agendas for clients at the highest level. Nadine
was named number one in Campaign's Top Ten Media Suits list 2023, Media Leader's Media
Agency Leader of the Year 2023 and, under her leadership, Starcom won Media Week's Agency
of the Year 2023 and has been named a Campaign Best Place to Work four years in a row, and a
Sunday Times Best Place to Work. Nadine is most driven by the chance to shape people’s
careers; she loves mentoring whether in formal settings or one-to-one. She is a huge champion
of gender equality and has been vocal on panels and in the trades on topics such as top
strategies for working mothers. Prior to her last 4 years with Starcom, Nadine spent nine years
in New York, initially at Mindshare and then as CSO at Vizeum.
As Managing Director of Starcom UK, Richard is responsible for driving growth for the agency, alongside leading an integrated media team with CEO Nadine Young. Appointed in 2020, Richard has a wealth of experience leading large teams and is a great addition to Starcom’s leadership team. Prior to this, Richard was managing partner at Mediacom, where he was responsible for leading the UK planning function and brings multi-disciplinary experience across brands including TUI, Mars, Bayer, Groupe PSA and VW Group. His previous roles include Business Director at Vizeum UK leading accounts including BMW and Channel 5.
Richard is driven by the opportunity to help both Starcom’s clients and its people grow. He loves immersing himself in client business and building extensive knowledge of the challenges and opportunities that can lead to more effective marketing solutions. He is also a huge champion of future talent and believes the best work can only come from a truly diverse and empowered workforce. When not focused on Starcom, Richard’s time is dominated by his three favourite things – his family, his guitars, and the mountains.
Louise Peacocke is Chief Client Officer at Starcom, overseeing all client relationships across the
agency such as P&G, Samsung, PUIG, Primark, AB InBev, Aldi and Intersnack. With over 20
years' experience in the media industry, Louise has a proven track record of managing key
relationships for major clients across a range of sectors from retail and FMCG, to insurance and
entertainment.
Before taking on the role of CCO at the start of 2024, Louise served as the UK Managing
Director for PGOne, the agency client team dedicated to P&G, and has been with Starcom for
five years. She joined Publicis Media from Mediacom, bringing extensive experience from both
the UK and US markets. Known for her strategic vision and commitment to delivering
outstanding client service, Louise plays a pivotal role in driving growth and fostering high-
performing, inclusive teams at Starcom.
Dan Plant is the Chief Strategy Officer at Starcom UK where he is responsible for turning Starcom’s
“Move People. Move Business.” philosophy into real-world experiences that consumers value. He is
passionate about uncovering real insights into how consumers feel about brands in order to better
connect with them and drive business results.
Dan has two and a half decades of experience covering all aspects of media buying, planning and
strategy and for the past 5 years has been leading the strategic offering for Starcom in the UK.
Prior to his role as CSO, he led strategy on Samsung, one of Starcom’s largest clients. Dan has also
been named in Campaign’s Top 10 Media Planners list in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Plant has worked with some of the world’s biggest global and local brands including Netflix,
Vodafone, Nestlé and Compare the Market. Plant has previously held Strategy and Planning
positions at Wavemaker, MEC UK and Vizeum
Isabelle Baas is Starcom UK’s Chief DDT Officer. She is responsible for underpinning Starcom’s positioning with data and technology to help Starcom understand people better than anyone, design the right experiences and drive business growth for clients. Working alongside client leads, Isabelle works with agency clients to define and deploy marketing and business transformation agendas so brands deliver effective meaningful connections with consumers at the right ROI. She has 20 years’ experience as a digital marketer, spanning both agency and client side across digital marketing, data analytics and technology strategy. Prior to her tenure at Starcom, Isabelle was part of the leadership team that launched the iProspect brand in the UK –part of the Dentsu Aegis Network –where she led operations and product development and drove the tremendous growth of the agency’s SEO, Social, Data and Technology divisions. Earlier in her career, Isabelle held roles at leading brands including Tesco and T-Mobile.
As Chief Performance Officer and a results-driven specialist, Paul leads a world-class Performics practice
(a team of 150+ specialists) for Starcom in the UK, encompassing all digital performance marketing
channels (PPC, Social, SEO and Acquisition). He has been with Publicis Groupe in various digital roles
across the agency board for over 16 years, across most verticals and client sizes (local start-up through
to global).
As part of his journey in driving a world-class practice and proposition, Paul and his teams have won an
impressive 18 specialist awards including the prestigious Grand Prix at the Performance Marketing
Awards. He is relentlessly focused on accelerating growth through enhanced capability as proven
through UK agency client wins; Ancestry.com, Trafalgar Travel Group and Dominos. Paul is also a
frequent contributor to key publications such as e-consultancy, The IAB, and industry publications.
Lin-Sze is responsible for supercharging Starcom’s planning division to drive faster growth for
clients by ensuring a clear and consistent approach to media that is fuelled by Starcom’s
market-leading data, tools and systems. With almost 20 years in industry, Lin-Sze joined
Starcom in January 2023 and is part of the agency’s leadership team, led by CEO Nadine Young.
Prior to joining Starcom, Lin-Sze was Managing Partner at iProspect where she led key pieces of
business such as IKEA, 20th Century Fox, Hendricks and Glenfiddich. She has worked across
various categories from retail, tech, gaming, film and FMCG to luxury. She has also held roles at
Manning Gottlieb OMD and UM agencies working with brands like Virgin Atlantic, XBOX,
Microsoft.
Emma leads Starcom’s Investment team, overseeing the Publicis Media Exchange (PMX) and Performics disciplines. With over 20 years of experience, she began her media career at ITV in sales before moving into the agency world, joining Mediacom in a TV buying role for Universal Records. Emma joined Starcom in 2002 as the only female in the TV team, and her energy, passion, and commitment quickly stood out. In 2011, she became Starcom UK’s first female Head of AV.
Over the years, Emma has worked across numerous categories and brands, delivering iconic campaigns like Barclaycard’s “Too Much Month at the End of the Money,” Honda’s live skydiving ad on Channel 4, and several successful Samsung handset and TV launches. Her focus on achieving outstanding value and quality for clients has earned widespread recognition from clients, media partners, and auditors alike.
